We had great fun on Thursday 3rd March as we celebrated World Book Day with the opening of our school library.

The children dressed as their favourite characters from books and came to visit the library, enjoying stories such as The Scarecrows’ Wedding, Room on the Broom and The Demon Headmaster.

Next, we launched our new online library booking system. This new addition allows the children to check books in and out independently.

The children can borrow books and enjoy reading at home.

We hope to see the benefits of reading our library books with improved reading skills, spelling, increased vocabulary and even better ideas, grammar and punctuation in Writing lessons.

Happy Reading, everyone!

Be safe online!
