Handball at Ngumbe NGUMBE HAND BALL

Learners using their new Handball skills HANDBALL 2

Mr Gift Kawanga from Ngumbe Primary sent these pictures on Thursday. He had this to say:

‘The learners are playing Handball in style. The library is my favourite service. I like teaching in the library and teaching sports a lot. Tomorrow we are having a game in both football and netball against our neighbour school Namwiyo primary school, so please wish us luck. We have received other books from Justin Kamwendo for our library so I was busy yesterday putting numbers on the books and now that I have done that, you won’t believe how many learners are coming to borrow books to read at their homes. It’s nice and am I proud of you for for making our library an outstanding one. Charity is using the Library with her standard 1 learners. They are enjoying the lessons and learning lots of English words. Please greet all of the learners, teachers and parents at St Stephen’s. Thank them and let them know that we are making use of the skills we have learned and the materials they have given us.’
