AS a Lenten project, P6/7 collected donations from the whole school for a local foodbank. Last week, some children from the class were delighted to visit St Rollox community outreach, to deliver their food donations. The children met the staff and volunteers and listened, with interest, as the staff explained how the project works. Members of the local community, who were present in the centre, kindly requested a song from the children. P6/7 happily sang their school song which was met with smiles, and a loud and appreciative applause.
